Customer Service Specialist, EMEA

JOB SUMMARY:

Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides phone and e-mail support to end-users and key customers of NDS products. Must be able to competently and quickly determine problem resolution using available tools and own knowledge to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. Must also be able to clearly document and reproduce all steps taken during problem resolution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provides first and second tier support for NDS Surgical Imaging products.
  2. Troubleshoot issues accurately and quickly via phone and email.
  3. Diagnose, quote and advise customer of options.
  4. Responsible for providing timely and accurate answers to our customer calls and emails regarding products and services.  These contacts include, but are not limited to:
    • Technical support and troubleshooting.
    • Product, component and configuration questions.
    • Requests for product documentation and specs.
    • Status repairs.
    • Return Authorization for repairs.
  5. Coordinate the return of defective or warranty products and parts as necessary by issuing RMAs, credits and exchanges and provide finance with complete & accurate documentation.
  6. Document all actions taken during problem resolution in both internal tracking and knowledge base systems.
  7. Accurately document and update records in required systems; track daily productivity.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or equivalent work experience.
  2. 2-year Customer Service experience required.
  3. Experience with LCD, Video, Video Routing and Graphics technology preferred.
  4. Customer Service experience in Medical products preferred.

  1. Outstanding problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  2. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, positively, and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  3. Must be a “team player” and work cooperatively with internal and external business partners.
  4. Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload while deadlines and goals are being met.
  6. Excellent ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
